This Privacy Policy applies to all users of THEO - CHRISTIAN DATING (“App”), operated by THEO APPLICATIONS LLC (“THEO,” “we,” “us”). By using the App, you consent to this policy.

Uploaded photos

Theological and personal answers to profile prompts
Messages you write and users you message
Users you report

You choose to provide this data by completing forms and interactions in the App.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR and related laws, we process your data under these legal bases:
Email, password, first name, sex, and date of birth are used for setting up your account. Basis: Contract.
Photos, location data, and profile answers are used for personalizing your profile, based on information you choose to provide. Basis: Consent.
Messages you write and a list of users you message are used for the core app messaging function, for admin to review to keep the community safe, and for admin to review to improve the app experience. Bases: Contract and Legitimate Interests.
A list of users you report are used for admin review. Basis: Legitimate Interests.
4. How We Use Data
Your data is used strictly for:
Account creation and profile customization
Profile visibility for active and messaged users
Direct messaging features
Admin review (e.g., ban or suspension reports)
App improvement and moderation
5. Data Sharing and Selling
Your entire collection of personal data is visible only to you and THEO admins.
Other users may see: First name, sex, photos, profile answers, and general location. Other data (e.g., email, password, birthdate, exact location, messaging history) remains private.
We do not share or sell data to third parties.
6. Children’s Privacy
Minors are prohibited from using THEO.
7. Consumer Privacy Rights
You have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may access profile data on the App and request full data via email support.

8. Your Controls

9. Safeguards
Your data is protected via secured admin-only access. Messages and profile data are not end-to-end encrypted.
10. Data Retention
Upon account deletion, your data is erased. If your account was banned or suspended, or if you filed a report against another user, relevant data may be retained to prevent abuse.
11. Cookie Policy
We do not use cookies or third-party trackers.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this policy and will notify you in advance.
13. Sale of Company
If THEO is sold, your data may be transferred to the new owner under equivalent protections.
